Brand Identity, 2018

The Brief
To create a brand identity for SmartPurse — a financial education, events & coaching platform aimed at females.

The Solution 
I created a vibrate and chic brand identity that reflected the brand marketing ambition. In colour theory, purple represents royalty and wealth so I based the brand colour pallet around that core colour. As the brand is aimed at a large age range of 18-54, the brand imagery and aesthetic had to appeal to that wide range. I decided that the modern, yet timeless,  design sweet spot was collaging. I developed a brand aesthetic that was heavily based on collaging and layering. This brand imagery was used across their website and social in the form of banners and social posts. A key brand touchpoint was a custom Mastercard, I wanted to reflect the coin in the logo and the final result was a retro Bauhaus style print.

Final Assets 
A full brand identity was created which included a logo suite, colour pallet, fonts, custom Mastercard design, collage brand imagery, brand guidelines, and website re-skin.
